2023, YB YOON DO HYUN BAND Live in Australia!

Formed in 1996, the band consists of Yoon Do-hyun (lead vocal, keyboards, guitar), Heo Jun (guitar), Kim Jin-won (drums), Park Tae-hee (bass guitar) and Scott Hellowell (guitar).

YB is considered one of the most influential figures in South Korea's rock music scene. Hitting 44 cities around the world including the UK, Germany, Italy, USA, Canada and Japan, including headlining the second stage at Pol’andRock; YB have become a major K-Rock icon in South Korea. The band regularly headlines at almost every rock festival in the country. YB are widely known for their explosive and dynamic live performances, with a resonant directness in vocal style and song- writing. YB released a video for the single, “Dreamer.” in 2017. The song is featured on the soundtrack for the highly acclaimed documentary, ‘Landfill Harmonic’, which is about a Paraguayan musical group that created instruments completely out of trash. topped the worldwide Indy Radio composite chart, including the Radio Indie Alliance.

Venue information

Our foyers will be open 90 minutes pre-show for Concert Hall and Joan Sutherland Theatre performances, and two hours pre-show for Western Foyer venue performances. Refreshments will be available for purchase from our theatre bars.

All Sydney Opera House foyers are pram accessible, with lifts to the main and western foyers. The public lift to all foyers is accessible from the corridor near the escalators on the Lower Concourse and also in the Western Foyer via the corridor on the Ground Level (at the top of the escalators). Pram parking will be available outside the theatres in the Western Foyer.
