Hello all

I am looking for support person with high manual handling skills required for ongoing shifts for joining a team providing care for a male who has spinal cord injury.

Your primary role will be providing one on one support within home or out in the community. This can include assisting with daily living activities – personal care, meal preparation, providing domestic assistance, community access and other aspects of daily living.

If you are a person with a kind, patient and empathetic nature and willing to provide with your upmost care and carrying a positive can-do attitude then this role could be a match for you.

Location: Fortitude Valley, 4006 QLD.

Pay rate: SCHADS Award. 

About you:

• Have  demonstrated experience working with clients with physical disabilities;

• Experience in hoist use;

• Strong time management skill and a quick learner;

• A ‘can do’ attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving;

• Have outstanding interpersonal skills; and

• Live no further than 20 - 30 minutes travel from Fortitude Valley (Preferred but not mandatory).
