Our rapidly expanding sushi brand is currently captivating Brisbane CBD with two thriving stores. We're embarking on an exhilarating journey to franchise across Queensland and the nation, and we're searching for a dedicated individual to oversee current operations and spearhead the training for new locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless workflows, adherence to quality standards, and excellent customer service.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Evaluate and assist in developing processes to streamline operations, policies and procedures, reduce costs, and optimise performance.
- Strategically monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet operational targets.
- Innovate solutions to enhance operations, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify expansion opportunities.
- Take charge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain to maintain optimal stock levels and timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff, ensuring consistent service and operational excellence.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions and coaching to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
- Monitor the progress and performance of trainees, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify training needs and continuously improve training materials.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial targets.
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Foster relationships with team member, franchisees, and partners to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
Essential: Proven experience in operations and area management for corporate and franchise stores, specifically in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry.
Preferred: Experience in Asian cuisine and sushi operations.
Leadership skills: Ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
Analytical acumen: Proficiency in problem-solving with a data-centric approach.
Process optimisation: Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements.
Organisational finesse: Effective multitasking and prioritisation skills.
