Seeking Sushi Maker who understand Japanese cuisine, have a passion for making Sushi, can work independently and also as part of a team. 

Legal pay ($21+) with super, plus weekend has extra penalty payment.

Working time: from 6am to 2pm OR from 10am to 5pm

Location: Ormeau or Pacific Fair

About the Role

Our Stores have become famous in the local community for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a first-class fresh food offer and we are currently seeking sushi maker to join our team.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Production of quality sushi and Japanese cuisine
• Ensure a high standard of food presentation
• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to all customers.
• Ensure the overall appearance of the Kiosk is clean, organised and visually presentable.
• Work as part of a Team to achieve sales, gross profit & shrinkage budgets/targets
• in conjunction with manager maintain stock level

Key skills the successful applicant will have:

• previous sushi making experience (advantage, but not required) 
• Previous kitchen experience 
• Moderate knowledge of Japanese cuisine
  
• Attention to detail 
  
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Possess good communication skills
  
• A personality that is vibrant and exceeds the utmost best customer service
• Thorough understanding of hygiene and food safety
• The ability to work weekdays, morning and weekend rosters
